Sixty-three grams used to be the headline claim of this mouse, but the durable part is the sensor and the polling: the HERO sensor holds 16,000 DPI without the jitter that plagued earlier generations, and plugging it in gives a genuine 8000Hz report rather than the 1000Hz most wireless mice top out at. It also carries onboard memory, so the DPI and button profiles survive being used on a different machine without reconfiguring anything.
The wireless option for general desktop work. When a session turns competitive and I want the full polling rate, the cable comes out and it becomes a very light wired mouse.
The battery is the weak point — around 25 hours, which is less than the Glorious and far less than a headset, so it wants a weekly top-up. The HERO sensor is good rather than class-leading; newer sensors track marginally more smoothly on fast flicks. It is also the most expensive of the four, and 63g is no longer remarkable now that lighter mice exist.
